“Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done.”

Little Boys Optimism
This is very inspirational and reminds me of how when we were kids the world really was ours. Somehow as we age the negativity of the world sets in and we are constantly taunted by the we cants instead of the we cans.
Boy: I’m the greatest hitter in the world!
Strike One.
I’m the greatest hitter in the world!
Strike Two.
Hmmm.
I’m the greatest hitter in the world!
Strike Three.
Wow…
I’m the greatest pitcher in the world! Yes!
Thats right instead of being defeated by the 3 strike outs he switched his perception a bit.

Karma or Revenge?
When you feel like what you are doing is giving the person "getting
their Karma" coming back on them. But since you are the one doing it or
setting it up. Doesn't that mean now Karma is gonna come back on you?
When does the Karma cycle stop? Karma is supposed to be a natural
occurence where one gets (by nature, the laws of gravity, etc.) what
they deserve. What they do wrong will come back on them. Karma. However,
sometimes when you do something to that person or persons, which they
deserve, which you think is Karma. Is really revenge. Not Karma. Karma
comes naturally. Although, really in our heads we want to think it is
Karma. Karma does not come from us sticking it to someone it comes from
"What goes around comes around". As much as we think what we are doing
is giving them their Karma. It is us making ourselves believe what we
are doing is ok. You can not control Karma and if you try to give
someone Karma, you are no better then them and will get Karma back on
you. So in closing, trying to give someone what we think is "Karma" is
actually "Revenge" not Karma. Karma will come naturally. Which is
actually better because you can sit back and laugh and keep your hands
clean. :) Till the next time. God Bless and Many Blessings to All.
What is optimistim?
The Oxford English Dictionary defines optimism
as having "hopefulness and confidence about the future or successful
outcome of something; a tendency to take a favourable or hopeful
view." The word is originally derived from the Latin optimum, meaning
"best." Being optimistic, in the typical sense of the world,
ultimately means one expects the best possible outcome from any given
situation. This is usually referred to in psychology as dispositional optimism. Researchers sometimes operationalize the term differently depending on their research, however. For example, Martin Seligman and his fellow researchers define it in terms of explanatory style,
which is based on the way one explains life events. As for any trait
characteristic, there are several ways to evaluate optimism, such as
various forms of the Life Orientation Test, for the original definition
of optimism, or the Attributional Style Questionnaire designed to
test optimism in terms of explanatory style. While the heritability of optimism is largely debatable, most researchers agree that it seems to be a biological trait to some small degree, but it is also thought that optimism has more to do with environmental factors, making it a largely learned trait.[1]
It has also been suggested that optimism could appear to be a
hereditary trait because it is actually a manifestation of combined
traits that are mostly heritable, like intelligence and temperament.[2] Optimism may also be linked to health.
